Johannesburg South Africa Cancellation Policy

This event is specifically for YPO members. If any non-YPO community members are identified, the company retains the right to revoke their invitation and subscription to the event.

All cancellations and modifications must be made via email to info@whisperingtribe.com, in accordance with the specified deadlines, time zones and terms for each individual event. Any refund provided will incur an administration fee. After this date, the event registration is considered non-refundable and no refunds can be made. It is important to note that cancellation policies are strictly enforced and will vary depending on each individual event’s requirements.

Exceptions to Event Cancellation and Refund Policy

When registering for an event with Whispering Tribe, it’s important to know that the organization incurs costs to provide a place for you. Due to this fact, exceptions will only be made to the event cancellation and refund policies in four specific cases. These policies are stated explicitly on each event page.

  1. If there is a death in your immediate family;
  2. If you cancel within 48 hours of your registration date and time;
  3. If a waitlist exists and Whispering Tribe can sell your registration to someone based on the order of the waitlist, in which case only a processing fee will be deducted from your refund; or
  4. If a waitlist does not exist, you can sell/transfer your registration directly to another member in good standing, in which case you are responsible for notifying Whispering Tribe of the transfer via email to info@whisperingtribe.com. Whispering Tribe will cancel you from the event and register the replacement member. Whispering Tribe will transfer any monies you paid (excluding vouchers applied) to replacement member’s order and replacement member will be notified of any remaining balance due. Replacement member will not be confirmed until balance due is paid in full. Once a registered member cancels from an event the space cannot be sold/transferred.

The event cancellation and refund policy includes no additional exceptions, unless you meet the specific conditions of one of the four stated above

Cancellations caused by the impacts of COVID-19 or any other illness or travel restriction are subject to provisions of this policy. There are no exceptions for limitations caused by COVID-19, including, but not limited to, governmental limitations on travel, restrictions on gathering, personal or family illness, mandatory quarantines, or failure to meet an event safety protocol such as negative testing, masking or vaccination.
